The Viral King is a tall, circular robot that is defended on all sides by a trio of spikes that spin around the robot at high speeds. The appearance was intended to mimic that of a crown, and were described as the 'kingly spikes'. Despite the menacing weaponry, The Viral King has not seen much success in Banter Wars, winning only one fight after its opponent KO'd itself.
Robot History[]
Series 1.5[]
The Viral King debuted in the King of the Hill competition, going up against Leternal, CKtv, and MykolasGX. All four robots charged to the center of the arena, where Leternal began systematically ripping apart the other three robots. First, The Viral King was stripped of all weaponry and knocked out. The other two would follow shortly after. Leternal was the obvious winner, meaning The Viral King was eliminated from the King of the Hill tournament.
Series 2[]
The Viral King was placed into Heat B, where it first faced 4-Way Melee winner Carnival Crusher. From the start Viral King came slamming into Carnival Crusher where it was instantly crushed by the duel hammers. The Viral King lost parts of its weapon and was severely dented while Carnival Crusher had lost one of its hammers in the process. The Viral King backs away but is chased by the Carnival Crusher, the two do a twirl with Viral King attacking the wheels. In a shocking turn of events Carnival Crusher then drives directly into the pit, allowing The Viral King to move on to the second round.
In Round 2, The Viral King went up against Elfblade The Viral King slams, and takes off one of Elfblade's flippers only to be flipped soon after. Observabot helps self right Viral King but is intercepted by Elfblade who attacks The Viral King multiple times. Viral King is helped back up by Observabot and starts attacking Elfblade but with no success and suffers huge damage as a result. The Viral King attempts to attack the Observabot only for Observabot to send The Viral King toppling back on to its back. After being righted again, The Viral King manages to destroy Elfblade's flipper completely but suffers attacks from the sword as a result. Elfblade chases Observabot only for Viral King to get in the way and in turn be knocked immobile.
